Getting Started: Your First Polygon Card

A complete step-by-step guide to creating and claiming your first virtual card.

Connect Your Wallet

Click on "Connect Wallet" or "Claim my Card and Reward" button on the homepage. Select your preferred wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or Coinbase Wallet) and approve the connection.

  • Make sure you have a Web3 wallet installed in your browser
  • If using MetaMask, ensure it's unlocked and connected to the Base network
  • Approve the connection request when prompted

Configure Spending Limits

Set your spending limits to control how much you can spend per day, per month, and per transaction. These limits help protect your funds and give you control over your card usage.

  • Daily Limit: Maximum amount you can spend in a 24-hour period
  • Monthly Limit: Maximum amount you can spend in a calendar month
  • Per Transaction Limit: Maximum amount for a single transaction
  • You can adjust these limits later if needed

Claim Your Card

Review your settings and click "Claim Card & Reward" to create your virtual Mastercard. The process takes just a few seconds.

  • Double-check your spending limits before claiming
  • The card creation process is instant
  • You'll receive a unique NFT and a private key upon successful claim

Access Your Card Details

After claiming, you'll see your card details including the card number, expiry date, CVV, and wallet address. Make sure to save your private key securely.

  • Click "Show Card Data" to reveal your card information
  • Your private key is displayed separately - save it immediately
  • The private key is required to access your card details in the future
  • Store your private key in a secure location and never share it
